Red Gold Fun Food Recipe Hop

I participated in the Red Gold Fun Food Recipe Hop. The promotion was in conjunction with the summer grilling party. The company sent me a box of tomatoes, jalapeno ketchup, 2 aprons, and recipe cards. I made a chicken chili. I got hell because I used chili over ground beef, but ground beef is not part of my approved list of foods for Revolt fitness.

The soup had chicken breast strips, black beans, brown rice, Red Gold Lime Juice and Cilantro Tomatoes, Red Gold Diced Tomatoes, Tomato Sauce, Tomato Paste, Bell pepper, and the Lime Gold Chili Ready Tomatoes, and Crushed onions (the whole bottle). I also took some peppered cheese sticks and added them as well.  I mixed everything together, seasoned the pot, and let it cook for about 30 minutes.

I also made tortilla chips and a cheese sauce. The chili was topped with guacamole and sour cream.

Since I don't eat spicy foods, my niece has been using the jalapeno ketchup in everything she has eaten this week. She loves it. I did try it though. It tastes good.

I also used the Red Gold Basil, Garlic, and Oregano Tomatoes in Cabbage Soup. The soup had red cabbage, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili seasoning, brown rice,  black eyed peas, and the Red Gold Tomatoes. I boiled the cabbage first, then added the other ingredients.

Join the twitter party using hashtag #rgparty. Enter for a chance to win the Red Gold Sweepstakes, which includes a grand prize for a Green Egg Grill.
