Spongits Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Loew Cornell Artist Arts and Crafts Paint Brushes Sponges - Craft Container (6 Piece Round Spongit Set), in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

I liked the sponges. The sponges are small and round. The sponges are also great for many applications, such as paint, glue, chalk, and ink. The sponges are double-sided.

I used the spongits to help make some art work, above Kalen's bed. The sponges are easy to work with, but I had issues at times, with the sponge falling off the stick. Just like a typical paint brush or sponge, the spongits do dry out if you leave paint or another liquid on too long.

You can purchase Spongits, using the link above. The spongits are prime-eligible.

Christy Nockels "Let It Be Jesus" Album review (Fly By Blog Promotions)

Disclaimer: This post was sponsored by FlyBy Blog promotions. I received a MP3 copy of the cd for participation. No other compensation was provided. This post also contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Christy Nockels, Let it Be Jesus
in exchange for honest review.

About Christy Nockels (from Media kit)

As a worship leader for many years, she has been an integral part of Passion Conferences from its inception in 1997. She's seen first hand music sweep people into the presence of God in a powerful way.

A pastor’s kid, who was born in Fort Worth and raised in Oklahoma, she grew up singing in church. She met her husband, Nathan, in 1993 at the Christian Artists Seminar in Estes Park, Co. They recorded an independent record with fellow worship leader Charlie Hall under the name Sons & Daughters that led to an invitation from Louie Giglio to participate in the first Passion conference in Austin.

Christy’s voice gained a national platform when she and Nathan formed the duo Watermark, recording four acclaimed albums before that musical season ended, paving the way for Christy’s solo career. In 2008, the couple moved to Atlanta to become part of Passion City Church where she serves on the worship team with sixstepsrecords labelmates Chris Tomlin and Kristian Stanfill. The following year, Nockels released her acclaimed solo debut, Life Light Up and spent much of the next two years touring with Tomlin and Passion.

My Review: (Pending. Will be up shortly).

One of the first songs, which stood out was the first song, Freedom song. My Anchor is also a beautiful song. "Oh Jesus, I hold on to you. and Jesus, you hold on to me. You're my anchor forever, my shelter in the storm, my deliver. You're the rock, I stand on. "

I also liked Everything is mine in you, a beautiful praise and worship ballad. I admit, I didn't like it at first, but when she hit the chorus and bridge, I fell in love with the song.

The entire cd is beautiful. I love the praise and worship. Great for when, you need a pick me up after a hard day with the kids.

Parents for Sale Book Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links and Images.

I read Parents for Sale, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by Dr. Nicole Audet. The book is a children's book. I think the book is geared for intermediate to more advanced readers because of the amount of words per page.

The book is about two twins, who have a dog. The parents want to sell the dog because they can't afford Pistachio anymore. They don't have the time or resources to deal with a doggie and the twins.

The twins device a plan to keep the dog by selling the parents. The twins interview a cast of characters, who have different plans for the parents. Read the book to find out more.

Of course, I don't like the scene, where the parents leave the kids at home alone, with the doggie, while they go out.

The book gets real interesting in the end. Things are definitely not what the twins expected. I finished the book within 30 or so minutes, reading it off and on.

You can purchase the book on Amazon in Kindle and paperback format. The book is prime-eligible.

Kuuk Ice Ball Molds Review (Tomoson)

I received Silicone Ice Ball Maker - Small (Twin Pack) Green and Blue, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. Each mold lets you make 4 ice balls. It's hot in Texas. It doesn't help that our air conditioner goes in and out. I love ice. Ice cubes, ice chips, and ice balls. Ice balls supposed to melt slower than ice chips or ice cubes, depending on size and other factors.

You put both trays together and fill the little hole up with water. I had issues determining how much water to put in each hole. I kept making half balls, which melted quick. I am still figuring out how much water to pour to make a whole ball.

Other than that, I had no issues with the product. I still love ice, even if it's a half ball.

You can purchase the ice ball molds and other Kuuk products on Amazon, using the link above. The ice ball molds are prime-eligible.

Kuuk Silicone Cupcake Cups

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Kuuk Silicone Cup Cake Molds (24 Pack), in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I received 6 colors (4 each red, yellow, green, pink, purple, and blue. I used the liners, first to make chocolate cupcakes.

Some cupcakes do need greasing first, otherwise some do not come out as easily. I fell in love with silicone cook ware last year. Silicone is easy to reuse and easy to clean. The liners are not just for cupcakes, but for any baking ideas, such as cornbread, cake, biscuit dough, or mini meat loaf. The liners also have came in handy lately. Our oven broke a while back, so I use the toaster oven for everything. From mini cornbread, biscuits, and meat.

With the liners, I can go extra mini and make individual portions.

You can purchase Kuuk silicone cupcake molds, along with other Kuuk products, using the link above. The cupcake molds are prime-eligible.

God, me, and Sweet Iced Tea Review (Litfuse)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received God, Me, and Sweet Iced Tea: Experiencing God in the Midst of Everyday Moments, in exchange for honest review from Litfuse. The book was written by Rose Chandler Johnson. The book is a Christian-based devotional/study guide.

In each chapter, you have a devotional, followed by questions for reflection. The author does provide a few lines to write down your answers in.

In the first chapter, the author discusses how we need to taste God to see how good he is. Then, you have suggested readings, such as Psalm 145:7 and Nahum 1:7. You also will answer the questions, followed by prayer, a sweet moment, and a prayer focus.

One of the first questions is Why do you think chefs always taste the food they prepared?

Each chapter is a 1-2 pages long.

The book is a good devotional. I love the short format, great for when you have a few minutes of downtime. I did a devotional the other day, while sitting in the WIC office, waiting for recertification.

Other chapters, which I need to focus on is the one about stopping complaining; actions speak louder than words; obedience is better than sacrifice, and a perfect peace.

You can purchase the book, using the link above. The book is prime eligible. The book comes in Paperback and Kindle format.

Wholeness Home Paint Brushes Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Wholeness Home Set of 3 Heavy Duty House Paint Brushes - 3 Sizes: 1.5, 2inch 3 Inch Sturdy Wood Interior Exterior Paint Brushes, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I used the brushes to finish some wall art. I hate blank walls.

I bought some black and purple paint, along with some butterfly mirrors from Wal-Mart to finish everything up.

This is a picture of my wall months before. I started the process by outlining letters and applying wall decals but didn't have the right paint or brush to finish the process up.

The brushes were easy to use. I used the widest one for the front side of my bed (pink) and the smaller brushes to finish up the side of the bed (yellow). I do recommend cleaning the brushes right away. The blue paint got stuck and it took me days to clean all the paint out to be able to use it again. The blue paint was a pastel and I think oil based versus the black and purple were water based.

You can purchase the set using the link above. The brushes are prime-eligible.

Kanvas Chalkboard Labels Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received 48 Premium Chalkboard Labels by KANVAS, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. Chalkboard labels allow you to decorate your jars, bins, and other items with a re-writeable label. You write on the labels with chalk markers, which allows to you write and erase as needed.

You receive 48 labels: 12 square, 12 oval, and 24 vintage style labels.

I did have issues removing some of the labels from the sticker sheet. You have to be careful because sometimes it was hard separating the backing from the labels.

I used the labels to label my bins, such as socks, sheets, and towels. I also use them to label bins in the closet, so I know what's in them before I go on a scavenger hunt.

You can purchase Kanvas's Chalkboard labels using the link above. The labels are prime-eligible.

Bacchus Break Silicone Wine Glasses Review (Tomoson)

I received Bacchus Break Unbreakable, flexible, silicone wine glasses, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I received a set of two glasses. I wanted to review them because I have reviewed those fancy double walled glasses before and the kids broke them. Even, the double insulated glass water bottles and the kids broke them.

I love a good wine glass, but I don't like my kids breaking them. Here comes the Bacchus Break silicone wine glasses. They are not made out of glass, so the kids can't break them. I can hide them in my purse and the kids won't know.

I used the glasses for water, wine, and juice. I had no issues with them. Now with ice, the water does condense on the outside sometimes, but the glasses are still worth it. Just rinse a few times before the first use to get rid of the silicone taste.

You can purchase a set of two, using the link above.

Liztek USB 3.0 7 Port Hub Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Liztek HB30P7 USB 3.0 7-Port Hub , in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The device contains 7 USB ports, which is great for all my devices: 3 tablets, phone, portable chargers, my mother's tablet, the fitness tracker, camcorder, headset, etc.

The device can be hooked up two ways: You can connect the power cord to the outlet or you can use the usb adapter and hook it to a computer or power bank. You also don't have to decide which port to plug each in. They are all the same voltage. Compared to a regular power bank, where you have to decide between 1A and 2A.

At first, I hooked up both the usb cord to my computer and the power cord, but realized I didn't need both later on. The product is easy to use.

You can purchase the power bank on Amazon, using the link above. The hub is prime-eligible.
